the best of times

Rememember your best birthday party? your favorite Christmas present? the most special place you went as a kid? did you go to camp? grandmas house and watch her kill a chicken? was there a wonderful mountain trail with a waterfall you enjoyed seeing? Not only will they get to share your experiences, but the memories become more precious as you tell them. We started a book for our grandsons, stories when we were little. As we can remember them, we write in our journal and share with the boys. One day, they will have a keepsake that was our life- in cute, short, fun stories.

What to do with too many toys

truth

how many people want the truth? or just their impression of the truth, the truth they want to hear and believe. What makes truth real? who said what, when, where? Does the heart hear only the truth it can handle, or does our brain change reality into what the heart can handle. Big difference. If our actions spoke, would truth be different than mouths speak? Do the ones closest push away what they can't handle. Is it best to remove yourself from someones life to be appreciated or thanked. Is it best to do nothing for something to happen. Is truth real??

just one

Just one True Friend - you've always heard how lucky you are to have just ONE TRUE FREIND. I am truly lucky and thankful for Elizabeth. You are the person I can share anything and everything with. Laughter, and tears have filled our friendship with stories of childhood memories along with difficult times we face as adults. Family may or may not be there - but you my friend are ALWAYS there for me . Thank you, for when it comes to counting my blessings you are truly a blessing. For anyone without family, or family that is distant or just doesn't have the time - if you are lucky enough to have a TRUE FRIEND - tell them THANKS. One person can fill the gap that family leaves empty.
